WHAT DOES THE QPHP OFFER?
Discreet, expert, compassionate help
- Phone conversation and personal meeting with a QPHP physician
- Identifying the problem and finding a solution
- Developing an action plan
- Determining the appropriate resources and individual referrals for evaluation and treatment
- Support throughout the healing process
- Help in social and workplace reintegration if required
- Regular follow-ups by a QPHP physician until recovery
Advocacy and support for colleagues, family members or friends who wish to help a distressed physician, resident or medical student even if the individual refuses an examination or treatment. The names of these referrals will also be kept confidential unless they expressly consent to be given.

- Conferences or Information seminars
